Music has often been leveraged to demonstrate new computing technologies. For example, in the 1950s an ILLIAC computer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was programmed to compose a string quartet.
In this session, Brian and James will give an introduction to quantum computing, and demonstrate how a quantum computer can collaborate in composing what they call “quantum dance music”. They will then demonstrate how to use the Quantum Music Playground application that leverages a Qiskit quantum computing simulator.
