Over the last 20 years, the university has steadily increased the scholarships and financial aid awarded to students, both in amount of support and as a percentage of tuition revenue. In this session, we offer a high-level overview of how Financial Aid is packaged, current efforts underway to accelerate Financial Aid packaging, and how Financial Aid coordinates with Student Accounts during the registration process and beyond.
Speakers Sarah Fevig, Assistant Vice Provost for Financial Aid and Scholarships and Dareen Hernandez, Director, Academic Systems & Services, discuss how long it takes to package students for Financial Aid after admissions, how much financial aid the university distributes annually, the best ways to connect with Financial Aid staff, and how financial holds on student accounts are resolved within Financial Aid and Student Accounts.
