In this interactive session, learn about the university’s real estate portfolio, including what we own versus lease, why the university has opted to lease versus purchase certain buildings, the implication owning and leasing properties has on the university’s tax liability, who approves major real estate sales and purchases, and future planning. Following a brief introduction, community members will have an opportunity to discuss the university’s real estate portfolio with Joshua Burgher, Chief Financial Officer, and Linda Hird, Assistant Vice President of Asset and Risk Management.
